4-Hours Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) Course

The four Drug and Alcohol course covers Florida traffic laws and explains how illicit drugs and alcohol affect your ability to drive. To satisfy the requirements for court-ordered TLSAE, you must complete 40-question final exam. You need to score at least 80% on the exam to pass. After you pass the final exam, we'll report your course completion to the Florida DHSMV. Drivers with a suspended license can apply for a hardship license at the Florida DHSMV after completing TLSAE. A hardship license is a temporary license that allows you to drive for business or employment purposes until your suspension ends.

8-Hours Driver Improvement (IDI) Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The 8-hour Intermediate Driver Improvement Course may be taken by Internet, or in a Live class format. That course is similar in context to the 4 hours but is a bit more detailed in addressing driver safety. That course may be taken in place of the 4-hour course in some counties if you have already taken a 4-hour course within the past twelve months, in order to avoid points for the second traffic violation. Please check the list of County Clerks of Court and contact the clerk court of that county in which the ticket was received to verify if they accept the 8-hour Program. You are guaranteed to pass – Free retakes This Course may also, and often is, taken due to a judge ordering the completion of an 8-hour program for a particular citation. In either case, Election or Judgment, it may be completed by Internet or a live class.

12-Hours Advanced Driver Improvement (ADI) Course
